Ok, who wants to be the 1st to shave their Mauser lugs?  What's the ideal angle for 7.92x57mm?

it wouldnt work with a mauser bolt because theres nothing but the lugs to provide a mechanical disadvantage, and nothing with any kind of spring resistance either.. all mechanically delayed blowback actions have a 2 piece bolt that i am aware of

I bought a 3-D printer about 4 years ago to do prototype work on a new bump fire device. For the initial expense and work involved with the coding for the life of me I cannot see why anyone would go to all the effort to print a gun that if one layer out of the thousands of layers did not bond well, which happens a lot, the gun will fail with potentially fatal results.Although I support the plans being available in principle I do not see their value.

3-D printed plastic AR lowers seem to work well enough, albeit they are best reinforced w/ a thumbhole stock like NcStar's BlastAR, or printed integrally like WarFairy's Charon.

3-D printed barrels like the Liberator are intended to be used much like the original Liberator pistol was intended to be used.

I love the "best to have" when the world ends game.

I may make a thread for it.

I use my printer for prototyping custom projectile designs and see if a mechanism will work instead of carving it out of wood. As for a whole firearm design, no its stupid to 3d print it. Though I do not condone it, you can use a few pieces of black pipe for a 12 gauge. It is cheaper, safer, and more effective.

That's fine you can still mold them into aluminiun 7075 or 6360 if needed ^^

These 3D printers plan have the best value when they're free to be downloaded and used.

You can still be a part of the plan by adding more bang to them ^^
