Can someone guide me thru the process of obtaining magazines for my upcoming Swedish K build. I have been able to source a parts kit and the build kit from Indianapolisordnance. Do I file and get the build application first, or is there another "legal" way of buying the magazines.

I'm guessing that I also have to come up with some contraption to limit the number of bullets (seems to be 10 in CT where I live)that the magazine can hold.

Any other helpful hints would be appreciated

I take it you weld.

One route is to ship the mags to a friend in a free state, have him chop 'em into 10 round bits, and mail the bits to you.  Then you weld them back together in a manner that won't allow more than 10 rounds to be inserted into the mag.

I think what you'll find is no reputable magazine dealer is going to ship mags to you.  You might find a CT FFL that offers a mag pinning service, and some magazine dealers will ship to a CT FFL.
