I am trying to find a file for a Smith and Wesson SD9VE or SD40VE, so I can either CNC machine a new aluminum frame, or 3D Print a new frame, think like (Polymer80, only S&W not Glock) for my SW9VE, they are dimensionally the same, except for that STUPID proprietary rail system, so if I can get the SD9VE file, then make a new frame, so that I can put a light or a laser on it, and have it be stable without having to use a secondary adapter.

Wish I could help with the file acquisition, but I will be excited to hear your results if you get the file you want! As 3d prints are fairly week, you could cold cast the part once completed depending on the design of the frame. Just make sure to use a two part mold or you will have to get really creative with the mold design. Could always cast the aluminium but that is a lot harder.

Doing a castings a no go, in the following vid it's the SD40VE and SW40VE models, they're the same as the 9mm version of each.

Check rifleconnection.com they have a ton of 3d models and blueprints, not sure if that S&W is on there though.
