I've done a bit of research on Google and can't find much information on this.
How similar are parts between an FN52 and a 1919? Are any of them compatible? I have seen a couple FN52 kits for sale, but I am having trouble finding semi right side plates or machined semi internals. I was planning to buy a 1919 and just purchase a rsp and semi internals from Ohio ordinance works..

Does anybody have experience with this? My apologies if it's already be discussed.

Edit: The more I think about this, the more I realize it's probably a stupid question like "Can I put these Ford parts in a Chevy," but the kits look so similar. I have the ability to do some machining, but I'm lacking a mill right now..

Don't know much about the FN52 but I know the Side Plates are different. Also here is a good deal on a 1919A4. (NOT MINE)

And this is where I got mine years ago ( when they were cheaper )

Thanks for the link, that looks like a decent deal. I was only asking because there was an FN52 kit going for around six hundred; I wish I would have bought a 1919 when they were that price..

Why hasn't anyone made a model of the 1919? It looks simply enough to make.
