Here is the Saiga US Made Mahogany SVD Style Stock with adjustable cheek piece that's ambidextrous, and sits you better than the stock SVD plastic stock.  The original SVD stocks are very hard to find these days, but here is a better and far prettier looking stock for the S12 or Saiga rifles. (I liked it so much that i removed the SVD stock and installed this wood stock.)

These fit both the Saiga Shotgun and Rifle.

The stock is already sanded and ready to install, and the bare stock can be left as is, or refinished after minor fitting to your liking.  Note: I state minor fitting, but the stock can be mounted without fitting of any kind (includes hardware). On my Saiga S12 Shotgun the area where the trigger guard is could use some minor contouring, but it's cosmetic only.

Price Each:  $122.95 - Shipped

You can buy the stock right here:

Great video, but too long for this old man. Can I Suggest that you speak a bit more slowly, as some of us are hard of hearing.

Can the gap you pointed out be filled, then filed down, with wood filler? Or would a metal ship add strength to the stock fitment?

Thanks again for the video.

There is a ton of information to cover in a review, so you need to talk fast, and stay on point.  otherwise the video would be twice as long.  (I wear hearing aids in both ears due to being at the wrong end of 2,000 lb missle.)

Personally, the fit would be great of you just removed a few mm of wood from the top where the mount screws in.  that would pull the whole stock up for the correct fit.

If needed you could add a little wood filler for some contour, so the wood would flow naturally to the trigger guard.

There is more than enough strength in the stock.. all these wood products are very well made.  If I get time I'll do the mod real quick and shoot another video showing the single mod, and how well the result looks.

I like it... makes the uconverted S12 look really good. Leaning towards this now instead of a conversion. Just have to find a foreend I like.

Guess you'll have to put closed captioning on the next vid, Gary!

The rails I use are from Chaos, and they are the best looking and most affordable rails I have seen especially for the S12.

(they make them for AK's now as well)

The they also sell HK style front and rear sigts for the S12 rails... and the cowitness with the Buris fast fire red dots perfectly.
