I got the 6 inch to try out for down feed on my H.F. mill. Wasn't expecting much for the price but not much to lose either .

It has no instructions about mounting but pretty easy to figure out.

What I started with is an indicator on my mill that pretty much got ignored .

Had to drill some mounting holes. Always know what you are drilling into, so here is a part of the mill most people don't see.

Here is what I finished with, a scale I will pay attention too . The readout has a pretty long cord and a magnetic back. After some use I will decide where to mount it.

It repeats zero and touch off point exactly so I say it's a pretty good bang for the buck .

Thanks for the link. I'm thinking about adding one of these to my router table.

That's one of the uses in the "directions". As money permits I will be getting two more for the mill and one or two for the lathe .

Biker,

Incredible! I am going to have to order the big one for my lil mill! I was using a BIG mill at work, and really liked using their DRO... I am thinking that this is a great entry level way to get in!

Thanks for sharing the link!!
