Until recently I have used either the stock AR15 safety selectors or the DPMS extra large selector.
I wear a lot of gloves when shooting (long story) and the stock selectors are not that great for glove use.
But I just installed an Ambi Safety Selector (ASS) from Battle Arms Development (BAD), if you have not guessed the product name is BAD-ASS.
And while I'm still in the testing phase of the selector, I have to say it's the BEST selector I have ever used and/or seen.
The levers are removable on each side, and it comes with 3 levers, so you can shoose which one you want and where.
Installation is simple, just like the stock selector.
first off, you may ask why? well normally it's "the" thing to have for lefties because it makes shooting from the left much easier to get to the controls, but after just a few minutes of using it, I liked it.
with gloves on it worked great, and it does two big things...
1. The selector on the right quickly tells you if its on safe or fire without moving your thumb.
2. It makes placing the weapon on safe easier.
I bet you were not expecting the two above...
I'll get more photos once we get some sun again, and I can get to the range.
at that point I'll write up a complete Product review on them, but it's so good I wanted people to get a heads up on them even before the official review.
